Bordeaux Food Tour 

Bordeaux Food Tour was created by Virginie at the end of 2016, almost 10 years ago. It was the first food tour in Bordeaux!

Our food tours are organized around visits to emblematic places in Bordeaux, anecdotes, while tasting local and artisanal products.

We offer 4 food tours:Delicacies & Secrets of Bordeaux : a 100% sweet breakfast or afternoon snack walking tour, discovering the “Bordeaux of the locals,” from Gallo-Roman times to the present day, and meeting award-winning artisans.Strolling lunch : explore Bordeaux’s iconic historic neighborhoods while tasting delicious local products, then enjoy a gourmet stop at a Gault & Millau restaurant.Strolling dinner : stroll through the historic heart of Bordeaux while enjoying local and artisanal specialties, then enjoy a gourmet stop at a wine bar.Cocktail tour : Social gatherings, cocktails, speakeasies, follow me ! Private stroll and gourmet cruising : discover a few iconic landmarks on foot before boarding a beautiful wooden boat on the Garonne, along with local specialties.And a food walk pass to discover Bordeaux through its gastronomy at your own pace !Upon request, we can arrange private tours as well as tailor-made services.

French or English for food tours.Only the food walk pass is available in French, English and Spanish.

The tours are organized for a group of 2 to 6 people.For customized requests, the number of participants can be higher.

Each tour is generous in size, including the 100% sweet food tour, so we recommend having a light breakfast or lunch beforehand. For the strolling aperitif-dinner, which ends at 7 p.m., you will normally not be hungry by the end of the tour :)

Of course. Non-alcoholic drinks are always available and, whenever a stop includes wine, we will offer an alternative!

You will need to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a bottle of water. In case of bad weather, don't forget your umbrella. Also, remember your camera if you would like some souvenirs of your culinary excursion !

The tours will take place regardless of the weather. Just remember to bring comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather.We always try to adapt the tour to make it as enjoyable as possible.
